填詞人黃偉文以「女僕」闡述一個女孩子「長年累月在守候」男孩子，女的快樂就是可以陪伴在男的身邊，愛上他亦是最幸福的事，明知會受傷，也願為他無施地奉獻一切。當發現令男孩子快樂和甜蜜的並不是自己，女孩子糾結又掙扎，這一種愛，明知道要放棄，卻不甘心就此離開。她終於不想再卑微自己了，同時清楚明白，有一些感情，默默藏着就好，就當一輩子的好朋友吧。
